Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level Manual Pallet Jack Operator. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to equip you with all the skills needed to succeed. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a manual pallet jack to move and organize merchandise within our distribution center, helping to ensure smooth inventory flow and timely deliveries to our retail locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a manual pallet jack to move pallets and merchandise throughout the distribution center.
- Accurately pull and stage stock according to order sheets or manager instructions.
- Load and unload materials onto pallets, ensuring proper stacking and wrapping.
- Verify product counts and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support team operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic reading and math skills to understand instructions and count inventory.
- Commitment to safety protocols and a willingness to learn.
