Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable individual to join our team as a Parking Garage Ticket Dispenser Restocker – Maintenance. This essential on-site role involves ensuring that all ticket dispensers in our Fort Worth parking facilities are properly stocked with tickets and receipt paper, maintaining their cleanliness, and performing basic preventative maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for routine inspections, identifying minor issues, and performing simple repairs or reporting more complex problems to senior technicians. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining operational efficiency for our patrons.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly monitor and restock ticket dispensers with tickets and receipt paper across assigned parking garages.
- Perform routine cleaning of ticket dispensers and surrounding areas to ensure a presentable appearance.
- Conduct daily visual inspections of equipment to identify any signs of wear, malfunction, or damage.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks such as clearing minor jams, checking sensor functionality, and replacing easily accessible components.
- Troubleshoot minor operational issues and conduct simple repairs following established procedures.
- Accurately record inventory levels of tickets and supplies, reporting needs to management.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and maintenance team members regarding equipment status and issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while performing duties.
- Assist with other general maintenance tasks as needed to support facility operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and follow instructions carefully.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for simple troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to various work sites within Fort Worth.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a facilities maintenance or inventory management role.
- Familiarity with parking equipment operation.
- Valid Texas Driver's License.
