Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Pub Counter Hands for casual evening shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for flexible work in a dynamic and friendly pub environment. As a Pub Counter Hand, you will be a key part of our front-of-house team, ensuring guests receive prompt and friendly service. No prior experience is necessary for this role; we believe in comprehensive training to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all guests and assist them with their orders at the pub counter.
- Accurately take food and drink orders, inputting them into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Serve beverages, including pouring beers and mixed drinks, and deliver food items promptly.
- Process cash, credit card, and other forms of payment efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and counter areas, including wiping down surfaces and restocking supplies.
- Assist with light preparation tasks, such as garnishes or clearing dishes, as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience.

- A food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
