Job Description
Join SkipTheDishes as a Remote Food Delivery Support Agent and become a vital part of our fast-paced, customer-centric team. This is an immediate hire opportunity for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about providing excellent support. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, couriers, and restaurant partners, resolving inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth delivery experience. This 100% remote position requires strong problem-solving skills, exceptional communication, and the ability to work independently while being a part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional remote customer service via phone, email, and chat to customers, couriers, and restaurant partners.
- Efficiently resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, payments, and account inquiries in a timely manner.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal teams when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and resolutions using our internal systems.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and data security.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Adapt quickly to changes in processes and technology to continuously improve service delivery.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with common computer applications and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated quiet home workspace.
- A passion for helping others and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a remote customer service or call center role (6+ months).
- Familiarity with the food delivery or gig economy industry.
- Experience using CRM software and ticketing systems.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered a strong asset.
