Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly accurate Remote Transcription Quality Checker to join our growing team. This is a 100% remote, contract position offering flexible hours and weekly pay, perfect for individuals seeking work-life balance and the opportunity to work from anywhere. As a Quality Checker, you will be responsible for reviewing transcribed audio and video content to ensure accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to specific style guidelines. Key Responsibilities
- Review transcribed audio and video files for accuracy, completeness, and grammatical correctness.
- Verify proper punctuation, capitalization, and formatting according to established guidelines.
- Identify and correct errors in speaker identification and timestamps.
- Provide constructive feedback to transcribers to improve overall quality.
- Adhere to strict deadlines and quality standards for all assignments.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client materials and sensitive information.
- Utilize internal tools and software for quality checking and reporting.
Required Skills
- Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle errors.
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to discern speech in various audio qualities.
- Proficiency in using a computer and navigating web-based applications.
