Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Repossession Agency Dispatcher to join our fast-paced night shift team in Austin, TX. This critical role involves coordinating and managing field agents, communicating effectively with clients, and ensuring the smooth execution of repossession assignments during late hours. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-pressure environment, possesses exceptional problem-solving skills, and is committed to maintaining accurate records and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, prioritize, and process repossession assignments accurately and efficiently.
- Dispatch and direct field agents to various locations throughout the Austin metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
- Monitor agent progress, location, and safety using GPS tracking and communication systems.
- Maintain constant communication with field agents, clients, and law enforcement as required.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, addressing inquiries, and providing status updates.
- Document all activities, communications, and incidents thoroughly in dispatch logs and digital systems.
- Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to ensure smooth workflow.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, state regulations, and legal guidelines related to repossession.
- Prepare daily activity reports and communicate handover information to the next shift.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS systems, and standard office applications.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to consistently work night shifts.
- Basic knowledge of local geography for efficient dispatching.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dispatching role (e.g., logistics, security, emergency services, towing).
- Familiarity with the repossession industry or automotive finance.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Customer service experience in a call center or similar environment.
