Job Description
Bendigo Premier Roofing Solutions is seeking a motivated and physically fit Roofer’s Labourer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to get into the roofing trade, with full safety equipment provided and comprehensive on-the-job training. You will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced roofers, ensuring smooth and efficient operations on various job sites across Bendigo. We prioritize a safe working environment and are committed to equipping our team with everything needed to perform their duties securely.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified roofers with the safe loading, unloading, and distribution of roofing materials on site.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, including general site clean-up.
- Transport tools and equipment to and from the work area.
- Prepare and organise materials as instructed by the lead roofer.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, utilising provided safety equipment at all times.
- Perform general labouring duties to support the roofing team as required.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to safely lift and carry heavy materials.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills in the roofing trade.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a construction, manufacturing, or similar manual labour role, even for a short period.
- Possession of a valid Construction Induction Card (White Card) or willingness to obtain one.
- A current Australian Driver's License.
