Job Description

Join our team as a Roofing Debris Cleanup Crew member, focusing on ground-level work to ensure a safe and tidy construction site. This entry-level position is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards on our roofing projects. You will be responsible for collecting and sorting various types of scrap materials and general debris, contributing directly to a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and remove roofing debris, including shingles, felt, wood, and other scrap materials from ground level.
  • Sort collected materials for proper disposal or recycling, adhering to company and environmental guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area around the roofing site, ensuring clear pathways and hazard-free zones.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment as directed.
  • Operate basic hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members regarding cleanup status and needs.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
