Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and meticulous Salad Mixing & Bagging Operatives to join our dynamic team in Miramichi. This vital role involves working within our chilled production environment to prepare, mix, and bag various fresh salad products according to strict recipes and quality standards. If you are detail-oriented, comfortable working in a temperature-controlled setting, and committed to food safety, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately measure and mix salad ingredients according to specific recipe formulations.
  • Operate bagging and sealing machinery efficiently and safely.
  • Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Label and package finished products for distribution.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and production area, adhering to all food safety and hygiene protocols (HACCP/GMP).
  • Monitor equipment and report any malfunctions or issues to supervisors.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including working safely in a chilled environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production targets.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work consistently in a chilled environment (approximately 2-4°C).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and mixing.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene principles.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg).
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a food production, manufacturing, or warehousing environment.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or HACCP principles.
  • Experience operating production machinery.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
