Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Secondary Science Teacher specializing in Physics and Chemistry to join our esteemed faculty. Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Science Education, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in both Physics and Chemistry at the secondary education level.
  • Eligibility for or possession of appropriate teaching certification/licensure in the relevant subject areas (e.g., Physics and Chemistry).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of full-time teaching experience in Physics and Chemistry at the secondary level.
  • Experience teaching advanced placement (AP) or international baccalaureate (IB) science courses.
  • Experience working with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • A proven track record of student success and academic achievement.
