Job Description

Are you passionate about food and people, but have no prior experience in hospitality? No problem! Wagamama in Guildford is looking for enthusiastic and positive individuals to join our front-of-house team as Server / Wait Staff. We believe in potential, and we’re committed to providing comprehensive training to help you master the skills needed to excel in this role. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome guests and guide them to their tables.
  • Learn and understand our menu to confidently answer guest questions and make recommendations.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately using our POS system.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure tables are clean, tidy, and reset for the next guests.
  • Handle guest queries and resolve issues with a positive attitude, escalating when necessary.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.
  • Contribute to a positive and energetic team atmosphere.
