Job Description
Join our esteemed team at The Ivy Exeter as a Server, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering an unforgettable dining experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to provide attentive and professional service, ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued. This role requires excellent customer service skills, efficiency in a fast-paced environment, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests upon arrival.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding food and beverage items.
- Accurately take and input food and drink orders into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Monitor dining areas to anticipate guest needs and respond proactively.
- Clear tables and prepare them for subsequent guests efficiently.
- Process guest payments accurately, handling cash and card transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and dining area.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and other front-of-house staff.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any concerns with professionalism.
