Job Description

Summit Footwear Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shoe Factory Gluing Assistant to join our production team in Calgary. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to learn the foundational skills of shoe making. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training, ensuring you gain the expertise needed to excel. You will play a crucial role in the assembly process, contributing directly to the quality and timely production of our footwear.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare shoe components for gluing according to production specifications.
- Apply adhesive to various shoe parts accurately and consistently using provided tools and equipment.
- Operate basic machinery involved in the gluing and assembly process under supervision.
- Visually inspect glued components for quality defects, proper alignment, and adherence to company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station at all times.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient production flow and meet daily targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, material inconsistencies, or quality issues promptly to a supervisor.
