Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Spa Director / Manager to lead the operations of The Serene Oasis Spa at Hilton Garden Inn Erie. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the spa’s operations, including staff management, treatment menu development, financial performance, marketing initiatives, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for wellness and hospitality, capable of driving business growth while maintaining our high standards of service. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all daily operations of the spa, including front desk, treatment rooms, and retail.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise spa staff, ensuring high levels of service and productivity.
- Develop and implement innovative spa services, treatments, and retail offerings.
- Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Create and execute marketing and promotional strategies to increase spa utilization and guest engagement.
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by addressing feedback and maintaining a high standard of service quality.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain equipment in optimal condition.
- Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment for all spa team members.
- Collaborate with hotel management to ensure seamless integration of spa services with overall hotel operations.
Required Skills
- Proven leadership and management abilities within a spa or hospitality setting.
- Strong understanding of spa operations, including treatments, retail, and scheduling software.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and P&L management.
- Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and spa management software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in Esthetics, Massage Therapy, or Cosmetology.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in a luxury spa or hotel spa.
- Experience with international clientele and cultural sensitivity.
