Job Description
Join Liberty Cab Co. as a Taxi Fleet Sanitizer, a critical role focused on maintaining impeccable hygiene standards across our entire fleet. Working evening shifts, you will be responsible for the thorough cleaning and disinfection of our taxi vehicles, ensuring they are pristine and ready for service with quick turnaround times. This position is vital for the health and safety of both our passengers and drivers, contributing directly to our reputation for excellence in public transportation. We are looking for a meticulous and reliable individual who is committed to cleanliness and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed interior cleaning of vehicles, including vacuuming, wiping down all surfaces, and trash removal.
- Thoroughly sanitize all high-touch areas such as door handles, seatbelts, payment terminals, dashboards, and steering wheels using approved disinfectants.
- Clean exterior windows and ensure a presentable vehicle appearance.
- Inspect vehicles for any immediate maintenance or damage concerns and report findings to management.
- Manage and organize cleaning supplies, requesting replenishment as needed to maintain stock.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and health guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet turnaround schedules, ensuring the fleet is ready for the next shift.
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative team atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good physical stamina, capable of performing repetitive tasks, bending, lifting (light), and standing for extended periods.
