Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Trade Show Booth Builder to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, are comfortable with extensive travel, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Booth Builder, you will be responsible for the assembly and dismantling of custom trade show exhibits, ensuring they are constructed to precise specifications and maintained to the highest standards. This is a full-time position offering weekly pay and covering all travel expenses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Construct and dismantle trade show exhibits and displays according to blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions.
  • Safely operate various hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and measuring equipment.
  • Load and unload exhibit materials and equipment from trucks and trailers.
  • Travel extensively to various trade show venues across the country.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and on-site supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on exhibit components and tools.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment both in the warehouse and on-site.

Required Skills

  • Basic carpentry or general construction experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or assembly instructions.
  • Proficiency in using common hand and power tools safely.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, climb ladders, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 75% of the time).
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in trade show, event, set construction, or theatrical production.
  • Forklift certification.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience working with a variety of materials including wood, metal, fabric, and graphics.
