Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Golang Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. This is a crucial role for individuals who are passionate about building high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend services that power our next-generation e-commerce and logistics platforms. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of critical microservices and distributed systems using Golang. This position is 100% remote and we welcome applications from international candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and resilient microservices using Golang.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define system requirements and technical specifications.
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code, ensuring high code quality through code reviews and best practices.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to deployment and operational support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our systems.
- Contribute to the evolution of our architectural patterns and engineering standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience with Golang development.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservice architectures.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of message queues and streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in an e-commerce or high-volume transaction environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
