Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Tile Grout Cleaning Assistant. This is an entry-level position that requires a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the physical stamina to perform manual labor. You will be instrumental in assisting our lead technicians in delivering exceptional tile and grout cleaning services, ensuring every surface meets our high standards of cleanliness. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough and meticulous tile and grout cleaning tasks using specialized equipment and solutions.
- Prepare work areas by moving furniture, covering surfaces, and ensuring client property is protected.
- Safely operate and maintain various cleaning machines and tools.
- Accurately mix and apply cleaning solutions according to company guidelines and safety protocols.
- Inspect cleaned areas to ensure quality standards are met and address any missed spots.
- Organize and maintain company tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Provide support to lead technicians on larger projects as directed.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients in a professional manner.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Souris, PEI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a general labor, cleaning, or maintenance role is a plus, but not required.
- Basic understanding of cleaning products and their safe application.
- Customer service experience.
