Job Description
Join YMCA Quebec in Drummondville as a Trainee Child Protection Support Assistant. This is an exciting and highly rewarding entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of children and families. No prior experience in child protection is required; we are looking for dedicated individuals with a strong desire to learn and contribute to our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and logistical support to Child Protection Case Workers and social service teams.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and confidential records, both digital and physical, related to child protection cases.
- Help organize and prepare documentation for meetings, case reviews, and court proceedings.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners under supervision.
- Support the coordination of family visits, appointments, and other case-related activities.
- Learn and adhere to all relevant child protection policies, procedures, and legal frameworks.
- Participate actively in all provided training and development programs.
- Demonstrate empathy, sensitivity, and professionalism when interacting with clients and colleagues.

- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
