Key Responsibilities
- Source, identify, and attract potential candidates using various channels (job boards, social media, internal databases).
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and phone interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
- Manage and update candidate records within our applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Assist senior recruiters with administrative tasks and project coordination.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and talent pools.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates.
- Support the overall recruitment process from candidate identification to placement.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- A strong desire to build a career in recruitment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in any discipline (e.g., Business, HR, Arts).
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a client-facing role.
- An understanding of the local job market in Sept-Iles and surrounding areas.
