Job Description
Join PepsiCo Canada as a Vending Machine Snack Restocker and take charge of your own independent route in the Markham area. This full-time position comes with a company-provided van, empowering you to efficiently service and maintain a designated set of vending machines. You will be responsible for ensuring our vending machines are consistently stocked with a variety of popular snacks and beverages, clean, fully functional, and ready to serve our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and reliable individual who enjoys working independently and being on the go.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company-provided van to travel to designated vending machine locations within your route.
- Efficiently restock vending machines with a variety of PepsiCo snack and beverage products.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of vending machines to ensure optimal performance and appearance.
- Monitor product inventory levels and manage stock rotation to prevent waste and ensure freshness.
- Collect cash and electronic payments from machines, accurately record transactions, and prepare daily reports.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with vending machines and report major issues to maintenance.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring machines are well-stocked, clean, and in working order.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate records of route activities, inventory, and sales data.
Required Skills
- Valid G Class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage an independent route.
- Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and cash handling.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a route delivery, merchandising, or inventory management role.
- Familiarity with the Markham and surrounding Greater Toronto Area.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor machine adjustments.
