Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Virtual E-learning Support Coordinator to join our remote team. This part-time, term-time position is ideal for an individual looking for flexible work that aligns with academic calendars. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth and supportive e-learning experience for our students and educators. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, or other authorized locations in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line technical and administrative support for our e-learning platform and tools.
  • Assist students and educators with account setup, course navigation, and troubleshooting common technical issues.
  • Monitor and respond to support tickets, emails, and chat inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain comprehensive support documentation and FAQs for common issues.
  • Collaborate with content creators and IT specialists to resolve escalated technical problems.
  • Conduct virtual orientation sessions for new students and educators on platform usage.
  • Gather feedback from users to identify areas for improvement in our e-learning services.
  • Assist with data entry and reporting related to user engagement and support metrics.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
  • Familiarity with various e-learning platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or support role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in education, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with diverse user groups, including those in remote communities.
