Job Description
Are you looking to start a career in hospitality but have no previous experience? The Chesterfield Arms is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our front-of-house team as a Waitress. We believe in potential and providing comprehensive training from day one. If you’re passionate about customer service, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a lively environment, we want to hear from you! No experience is necessary – just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about specials, ingredients, allergies)
- Take food and drink orders accurately using our POS system
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and politely
- Clear tables and reset them promptly for new guests
- Assist in keeping the dining area clean and tidy
- Handle cash and card payments and operate the till
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Address guest concerns and provide excellent customer service
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
