Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Labeling & Tagging Assistant to join our growing team in Portland, ME. This is an entry-level position focusing on light duties crucial to our inventory management system. You will be responsible for accurately labeling and tagging incoming and outgoing merchandise, ensuring proper identification and organization within the warehouse. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in logistics with weekly pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately apply labels, tags, and barcodes to various products and packages according to company standards.
- Verify product information against manifests or digital records to ensure correct labeling.
- Assist with scanning and documenting inventory movements as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform other light duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
