Job Description
Join the Amazon team as a Full-Time Warehouse Worker on our night shifts. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking for a stable job with opportunities for growth. You will be an essential part of our fulfillment center operations, responsible for receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders. We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with physical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive products using scanning devices and unload shipments.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code.
- Pick customer orders using voice or handheld scanners and prepare them for shipment.
- Pack items securely and accurately into boxes, ensuring proper labeling.
- Move and stack materials, and organize warehouse space.
- Perform quality checks on products and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts and pallet jacks if certified.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures.
- Basic computer navigation skills for scanning devices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to work night shifts (typically 10 PM – 6:30 AM or similar).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
