Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic WFH Cloud Support Associate with a focus on AWS and Azure to join our dynamic remote team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within Australia. You will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to our clients on their cloud infrastructure and applications hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure platforms. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of cloud concepts and a strong desire to grow their expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to clients for AWS and Azure related issues via ticketing system, email, and chat.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure problems, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
  • Assist clients with routine cloud operations, such as resource provisioning, monitoring, and access management.
  • Document support interactions, solutions, and knowledge base articles to ensure accurate record-keeping and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and other teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with AWS and Azure services and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for support processes and tools.

Required Skills

  • Foundational understanding of cloud computing concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of AWS and/or Azure services (e.g., EC2/Virtual Machines, S3/Blob Storage, VPC/VNet).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Proficiency with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals certification.
  • Previous experience in a technical support, help desk, or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) is a plus.
