Job Description
Join Air Canada as a Work From Home Airline Ticketing Agent and become a vital part of our customer service team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to Canada’s leading airline. You will be responsible for assisting our valued customers with their travel needs, including booking flights, managing reservations, and addressing inquiries. Key Responsibilities
- Process new flight bookings, modifications, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with general inquiries regarding flight schedules, fares, baggage policies, and travel documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support, resolving issues and addressing concerns professionally.
- Handle payment transactions securely and ensure all booking details are correct.
- Stay informed about airline products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Adhere to all regulatory and company guidelines to ensure passenger safety and satisfaction.
- Document customer interactions and transactions thoroughly in the reservation system.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French (bilingualism is essential for our Quebec-based customers).
- Strong customer service orientation and a genuine desire to assist travelers.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including reservation software and common office applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High-speed internet connection and a dedicated quiet workspace at home.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (1+ year) in a call center, customer service, travel agency, or airline environment.
- Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- A passion for travel and the aviation industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is a plus.
