Job Description

Air Canada is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Work From Home: Airline Ticketing Agent. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere within Whistler, BC, while enjoying fantastic flight perks! As an Airline Ticketing Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, assisting them with flight reservations, ticket modifications, and general inquiries. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service, ready to undergo comprehensive training to become an expert in our systems and services. No prior experience is required – we provide full training!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with flight bookings, changes, and cancellations via phone and online chat.
- Provide accurate information regarding flight schedules, fares, and travel policies.
- Process payments and issue tickets using the airline's reservation system.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Air Canada's products, services, and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with all airline policies and industry regulations.
- Document customer interactions and transactions accurately.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and reliable internet access.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in French or other additional languages.
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role (not mandatory, but a plus).
- Familiarity with airline reservation systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) is a bonus, but not required as full training will be provided.
