Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Work From Home E-sports / Gaming Tournament Moderator to join our remote team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to contribute to the global e-sports community from the comfort of your home. As a moderator, you will be crucial in ensuring fair play, resolving disputes, and maintaining a positive atmosphere during online gaming tournaments. You will monitor live matches, enforce rules, communicate with participants, and escalate complex issues to senior staff. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of competitive gaming, and the ability to remain impartial and calm under pressure. Full training on our specific tournament platforms and moderation protocols will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live e-sports tournaments across various gaming titles for adherence to rules and fair play.
- Actively engage with participants to answer questions, provide guidance, and foster a positive competitive environment.
- Efficiently resolve in-game disputes and player conflicts with impartiality and clear judgment.
- Enforce tournament rules and codes of conduct, issuing warnings or penalties as necessary.
- Document and report incidents, rule violations, and outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with other moderators and tournament organizers to ensure smooth event operations.
- Provide feedback on tournament structures and rules to improve future events.
- Stay updated on current e-sports trends, game updates, and community guidelines.
Required Skills

- Proficiency in active listening and conflict resolution.
- Deep understanding of various competitive video games and e-sports ecosystems.
- Ability to make quick, impartial decisions under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a moderator for online communities, gaming platforms, or e-sports events.

- Knowledge of Twitch's platform and streaming culture.
- Experience playing competitive multiplayer games.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to cover tournaments across different time zones.
