Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Workplace Experience Intern to join our dynamic team in St. John’s. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about employee engagement, workplace culture, and human resources. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting various initiatives aimed at enhancing our employee experience, learning directly from experienced professionals in a supportive environment. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of internal employee engagement events and programs.
- Support the development and distribution of internal communications, including newsletters, intranet updates, and announcements.
- Help administer employee surveys, collect feedback, and assist in basic data analysis.
- Conduct research on best practices in employee engagement and workplace experience.
- Provide administrative support to the Workplace Experience and HR teams as needed.
- Contribute to projects focused on improving office amenities, well-being initiatives, and employee recognition programs.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather content and ensure consistent messaging for internal audiences.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
- Basic research and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and communication tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous volunteer or project experience in event planning or communications.
- Understanding of basic HR principles and employee engagement concepts.
