Job Description
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Refuse Loaders / Bin Collectors in Loughborough. This is an essential role where you will be responsible for collecting household and commercial waste, contributing directly to keeping our communities clean and safe. This position involves early morning starts and physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for stable employment with weekly pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely collect household and commercial waste bins from designated properties.
- Operate lifting mechanisms to empty bins into the refuse vehicle.
- Assist the driver with safe navigation and manoeuvring of the vehicle, acting as a spotter when required.
- Follow designated collection routes efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and environmental guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, including the vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service, interacting courteously with the public.
- Report any issues, hazards, or incidents to the supervisor promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions.
