Job Description
Are you an energetic, reliable individual who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in a job well done? ClearWater Pool & Spa Services is seeking a Residential Pool Cleaning Technician to join our team in Waco. You will be responsible for maintaining a route of residential pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for enjoyment. This role involves physical work, attention to detail, and direct interaction with customers. We provide a company vehicle for your route and all necessary equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of residential swimming pools, including skimming, brushing, and vacuuming.
- Test and balance pool water chemistry (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, etc.) using provided tools and chemicals.
- Inspect pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, automated systems) for proper function and potential issues.
- Empty skimmer baskets, pump baskets, and robotic cleaners.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and chemicals used for each pool.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pool conditions and recommendations.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently along an established route.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major problems to management.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in pool cleaning or maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of pool chemistry and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
