Job Description

As an IT Helpdesk Support team member, you will gain hands-on experience providing essential technical assistance and support to our employees. This role is designed for individuals with no prior professional IT experience, offering comprehensive training and mentorship to help you develop foundational skills in a supportive corporate environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our internal IT systems, learning how to troubleshoot common issues, manage support tickets, and contribute to a high-performance IT team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and application problems.
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support personnel.
- Log all helpdesk interactions and resolutions using a ticketing system.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of network connectivity, printers, and common office applications.
- Follow standard helpdesk procedures and guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
Required Skills
- Strong willingness and eagerness to learn about IT systems and support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Windows operating systems.
