Job Description
Join Skyline Rope Access Solutions as a High-Rise Window Washer Ground Helper. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is seeking a physically active role and is passionate about working outdoors. As a Ground Helper, you will be an integral part of our high-rise window washing team, primarily responsible for managing ropes, equipment, and ensuring the safety of our technicians working at height. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of your role, focusing heavily on safety protocols and equipment management. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, a good work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist high-rise window washing technicians by managing ropes and lines from the ground level.
- Inspect, organize, and maintain all safety equipment, ropes, and tools before and after use.
- Ensure proper setup and secure anchoring of rigging systems on rooftops and ground.
- Communicate effectively with technicians working at height to coordinate movements and equipment.
- Monitor weather conditions and site safety continually.
- Participate in daily safety briefings and contribute to a culture of workplace safety.
- Handle and transport equipment to and from job sites.
- Provide basic assistance with cleaning and maintenance tasks as directed.

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment.

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously.

Preferred Qualifications
- Valid G Class Driver's License and access to reliable transportation.
- Experience in a construction, outdoor labor, or physically demanding role.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Fall Protection certification (training will be provided if not already certified).
