Job Description
Join the exciting team at Pure Casino Lethbridge as a Casino Slot Machine Attendant! We are looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals to provide an outstanding experience for our guests during our busy night shifts. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy interacting with people, and are motivated by significant tip earning potential. As an attendant, you will be the first point of contact for guests requiring assistance with slot machines, ensuring their gaming experience is smooth, enjoyable, and compliant with all regulations. Full training will be provided to the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests enthusiastically and provide exceptional customer service on the casino floor.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding slot machine operation, game rules, and general casino information.
- Perform hand pays and jackpot payouts accurately and efficiently, adhering to all company policies and gaming regulations.
- Monitor assigned section of the casino floor, ensuring machines are operational and guest areas are clean and tidy.
- Identify and report any machine malfunctions or security concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Handle minor guest complaints and disputes professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of gaming policies, procedures, and relevant provincial regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other casino staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Demonstrate availability and reliability for scheduled night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Required Skills
- Must be 18 years of age or older (as per Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis regulations).
- Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service in a high-volume setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes noisy environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods during an entire shift.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for night shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service, retail, or hospitality role.
- Prior cash handling experience.
- Familiarity with casino operations or gaming regulations.
