Job Description

This position is perfect for someone with no prior experience in sales administration, as we are committed to providing full, comprehensive training from day one. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sales department by providing essential administrative support, managing data, and assisting our sales team in achieving their objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are correctly captured.
  • Maintain and update customer records and sales databases with current information.
  • Prepare sales reports, presentations, and other administrative documents as required by the sales team.
  • Liaise with internal departments (e.g., logistics, finance) to ensure timely product/service delivery and resolve any administrative issues.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for sales representatives.
  • Handle incoming inquiries, directing them to the appropriate team member, and providing basic information to customers.
  • Learn and effectively utilize internal CRM systems and other sales-related software.
  • Support the sales team in achieving targets through effective administrative assistance.

Required Skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • No prior experience in sales administration is required; full training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications).

  • Basic understanding of administrative processes.
