Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and meticulous Hotel Public Area Cleaner to join our night shift team in Horsham. This part-time role is crucial in maintaining the pristine condition of our hotel’s public spaces, ensuring they are spotless and inviting for our guests each morning. If you have a keen eye for detail and are committed to delivering high standards of cleanliness, we want to hear from you. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, stairwells, and lifts, during night shifts.
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to a high standard.
- Emptying waste bins and replacing liners in all designated public areas.
- Replenishing supplies in public restrooms and other communal spaces.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or damaged items to the Night Manager.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company cleaning standards.
- Ensuring cleaning equipment is well-maintained and stored correctly.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night hours.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Good physical stamina, capable of standing, bending, and lifting during the shift.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or hospitality role is a plus, but not essential.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a workplace.
- Good communication skills.
