Job Description
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Front End Developer to join our dynamic team in Kemp Town, Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge analytics platforms, contributing to user-facing applications that help our clients understand and engage with their customers globally. As a Front End Developer, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the visual components of our web applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and back-end engineers to translate user stories and designs into functional, elegant, and robust front-end solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive and high-performance user interfaces using modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure technical feasibility of designs and translate wireframes into interactive experiences.
- Write clean, well-documented, and scalable code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring optimal performance and user experience across various browsers and devices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and methodologies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Front End Developer.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Extensive experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
- Familiarity with CSS pre-processors (Sass/Less) and responsive design principles.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack or Vite.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centered design.
