Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented E-commerce Data Specialist to join our digital team in Sale. In this high-demand role, you will be crucial in tracking and analysing e-commerce sales performance, identifying emerging trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize our online strategies. You will work with large datasets, transforming raw information into clear, compelling reports that inform decisions across marketing, merchandising, and operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and organize large volumes of e-commerce data from various sources (web analytics, sales databases, CRM).
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales trends, conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
  • Identify and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour patterns to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards using data visualization tools to present insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and product teams to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to investigate specific business questions and provide data-backed recommendations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting systems and tools.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices in e-commerce analytics and data tools.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data visualization).
  • Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely.
  • Foundational understanding of e-commerce business models and metrics.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an e-commerce, data analysis, or business intelligence role.
  • Experience with SQL for data querying.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and analysis.
  • Understanding of retail and fashion industry trends.
