As a Recipe Tester & Writer, you will prepare and evaluate a variety of recipes from your own kitchen, providing detailed feedback on taste, texture, appearance, ease of preparation, and accuracy of instructions. You’ll also contribute written content, transforming your testing notes into compelling recipe reviews, tips, and stories for our digital platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Execute recipe testing in a home kitchen environment, following provided instructions meticulously.
- Evaluate recipes for taste, texture, aroma, appearance, and overall appeal.
- Provide constructive, detailed written feedback on recipe outcomes, including any necessary adjustments to ingredients or methods.
- Verify ingredient lists, measurements, and cooking times for accuracy and clarity.
- Capture high-quality photographs of prepared dishes (preferred, but not required to start).
- Transform testing notes into engaging and informative written content for publication on Taste of Home's digital channels.
- Adhere to deadlines and communication guidelines set by the editorial team.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace for recipe testing.
- Actively participate in feedback sessions and collaborate with other team members.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for cooking, baking, and all things food-related.
- Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
