Job Description
Are you a budding mobile developer eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment? Okanagan Innovations Inc. is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Mobile App Development Intern to join our team in Kelowna. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in code reviews, learning best practices and contributing to team quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Assist in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Research new mobile technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
- Actively engage in learning opportunities and mentorship sessions.
Required Skills
- Foundational knowledge of programming concepts (e.g., object-oriented programming, data structures).
- Basic understanding of at least one relevant programming language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
