Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Public Works General Laborers for immediate hire in Blackpool. This is a full-time, on-site position offering comprehensive benefits and extensive training. As a General Laborer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving Blackpool’s public infrastructure, working on a variety of essential projects. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople and other workers on various public works projects.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and clearing debris.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment from vehicles.
- Maintain clean and safe work sites, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations.
- Support road maintenance, landscaping, utility repair, and other general infrastructure tasks as needed.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders accurately and promptly.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
