Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Printing Press Operator to join our dynamic team in Motherwell. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the manufacturing and printing industry, as full training will be provided. As a Printing Press Operator, you will be instrumental in the operation and maintenance of our advanced printing machinery, ensuring high-quality output and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor printing press machines according to production schedules and specifications.
- Perform routine machine setup, including loading materials, adjusting ink levels, and making necessary calibrations.
- Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure adherence to standards and resolve any issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and meet targets.
- Record production data and complete relevant documentation accurately.
