Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Entry Clerk on a temporary contract basis in Bolton. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable administrative experience, as no prior experience is required. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and proficient in all aspects of the role. You will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining various types of data into our systems, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of critical information.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately inputting a high volume of data from various sources into designated databases and spreadsheets.
- Verifying data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, making corrections as needed.
- Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files in an orderly manner.
- Assisting with data clean-up projects and ensuring compliance with data storage policies.
- Generating basic reports and summaries from inputted data when requested.
- Communicating effectively with team members to resolve discrepancies or gather missing information.
- Adhering to strict confidentiality protocols regarding sensitive company data.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
