Job Description
Are you ready to kickstart your career in a dynamic and essential industry? FedEx Ground in Murrieta, CA is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Distribution Centre Team Members. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is needed – we provide comprehensive paid training to ensure your success. You’ll play a vital role in our package handling operations, contributing to the timely and accurate delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from vehicles, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Scan and sort packages accurately according to destination.
- Move packages to designated areas within the distribution center.
- Operate material handling equipment safely after proper training (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally with assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic communication skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or physical labor role (not required, but a plus).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.
