Job Description
Are you a compassionate and empathetic individual looking to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life? Home Instead in Ontario, CA, is seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals for an Entry Level Live-in Carer position. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive, full paid training to equip you with all the skills needed to excel in this rewarding role. You will live with a senior client, providing continuous support and companionship, ensuring their comfort and safety. This unique opportunity includes private accommodation within the client’s home, allowing you to focus on building a strong, supportive relationship and providing essential care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with medication reminders and appointments.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, laundry, and maintain a tidy living environment.
- Offer companionship, engage in stimulating activities, and provide emotional support.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety.
- Communicate regularly with family members and Home Instead care coordinators regarding client well-being.

- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation (for personal time off client premises).
- First Aid and CPR certification (training can be provided if not already held).
