Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in the hospitality industry? Pulse Nightclub is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Nightclub Cloakroom Attendants for weekend nights. This is an entry-level position – no prior experience is required! We will provide comprehensive training to ensure you are confident and successful in your role. As a Cloakroom Attendant, you will be the first and last point of contact for many of our guests, playing a crucial role in their overall experience by providing friendly, efficient, and secure service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all patrons with a warm and welcoming demeanor upon arrival and departure.
- Efficiently check in and check out coats, bags, and other personal items.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and secure cloakroom area throughout the night.
- Accurately handle cash transactions for cloakroom services and provide correct change.
- Ensure the security and safety of all stored items, following established protocols.
- Assist patrons with general inquiries and direct them to appropriate staff or areas.
- Adhere to all club policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth club operations.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-energy environment.
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting.
- Must be 19 years of age or older (due to club environment regulations).
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided on the job.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role, even informal.
- Familiarity with basic POS (Point of Sale) systems (training provided).
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset in Moncton.
