Job Description
Securitas UK is seeking vigilant and professional Door Supervisors for various sites in Coventry. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, ensuring compliance with licensing objectives, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence and a commitment to security excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Control entry and exit points, performing bag checks, and verifying identification as required to prevent unauthorized access or underage entry.
- Monitor premises for any signs of disorder, anti-social behaviour, or potential security threats, taking proactive measures to de-escalate situations.
- Respond effectively and calmly to incidents, ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals present.
- Conduct searches using appropriate techniques and detection equipment, adhering strictly to legal guidelines and company policies.
- Liaise professionally with venue management, emergency services, and colleagues to ensure seamless and coordinated security operations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all incidents, observations, and actions taken, providing comprehensive reports when necessary.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations and venue-specific licensing conditions.
- Provide a visible, reassuring, and professional security presence while delivering excellent customer service to patrons.
Required Skills
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Proactive approach to security and commitment to maintaining high safety standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a door supervision, security, or customer-facing role
- Certification in conflict management or physical intervention training
- A current First Aid at Work certification
