Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Wind Turbine Technicians and Engineers to join our dynamic team in Hamburg, Germany. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on wind turbine systems and components.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in strict accordance with safety protocols and technical specifications.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to maximize turbine uptime, efficiency, and longevity.
  • Complete detailed service reports, documentation, and maintain accurate records of all work performed.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with site teams, project managers, and remote support to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to urgent service requests as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the technical team.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Wind Turbine Technician or Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems within industrial settings.
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, specialized equipment, and precision instruments.
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) for communication within our international team.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform demanding tasks, including climbing and lifting, in challenging environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal technical education or engineering degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Renewable Energy).
  • Current GWO (Global Wind Organisation) certifications (e.g., First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights, Sea Survival).
  • Prior experience with specific wind turbine models, particularly Siemens Gamesa, Vestas, or GE.
  • Basic proficiency in German language.
  • Experience with SCADA systems and remote monitoring platforms.
