Job Description
Are you passionate about coffee and eager to learn the art of coffee making? Starbucks is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Barista Trainees in Mount Pleasant, SC. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for those with no prior experience in the coffee industry. We provide comprehensive, hands-on training from day one, equipping you with all the skills needed to become a successful barista. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Prepare a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverages according to Starbucks recipes and quality standards.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash and credit card transactions with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment, including workstations, public areas, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Stock and replenish inventory, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Provide excellent customer service, anticipating needs and creating a positive experience for every customer.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient store operations and a friendly atmosphere.
- Learn and adapt to new product offerings, promotions, and operational procedures through ongoing training.
